Contribute to Thunar
As nearly every other Open Source Project, Thunar depends on various contributions from the community. There are several ways to contribute to Thunar, as described below.
Development
If you are a programmer or software developer, this might be the best way for you to help Thunar.
As the core, which is actually splitted into thunar-vfs, thunarx and
the file manager itself, is rather complex, you might want to get started by writing a useful
plugin for Thunar. Feel free to contact us on the thunar-dev mailing list.
Translations
Thunar is already available in a lot of languages, but even more languages are missing from the list. So if you are good at translating software to new languages or improving existing translations, feel free to join us on the xfce-i18n mailing list.
Donate
If you like Thunar and want to help its further development, you can also donate money to increase the amount of spare time that can be spend on improving and extending Thunar.
